Aaron Miller, owner of Killer Miller Farm, feels passionate about helping patients have access to affordable medical marijuana by specializing in growing all natural homegrown products. 

 

“We gather all the elements that we use in our soil from this area,” Miller said. “We want to be able to grow for the patient and not the profit.”

 

Miller said he comes from a long line of Marijuana growing outlaws. 

 

“They would go to the woods with water jugs, a shovel, a wheel barrel and a hand of seeds and you wouldn't see them again until harvest time,” Miller said. “They grew some of the best quality bud and even people from Colorado said it was up to their standards and that was over 25 years ago.”

 

Miller said growing outdoor bud allows you to grow for the patient rather than for profits because everything is done naturally, which is cost effective.

 

“When growing indoors it forced us to sell for expensive prices,” he said.  “We know what it’s cost us, and we want to know we are doing a quality service to the customers and not all about money. Patients that are on disability or a fixed income can’t afford their medicine. If we don’t grow for the customers then none of us would be in business.”

 

Miller said he has been able to sell his strains at Buds Craft Cannabis for as low as $4 a gram. 

 

“What really attracted me to Buds Craft Cannabis is the ability to get on a personal level with the patients and we can accommodate the customer as much as possible and all the discounts we apply go directly to the customer and not the shop and I love that,” Miller said. 

 

Lemon Grass, Hibiscus, Notorious THC, Humboldt Sour Diesel and Blueberry Muffin were some of the strains in last season’s harvest. 

 

Miller said this season he is looking for even more unique strains to add to the list. 

 

“Our goals are to keep quality up and prices down,” Miller said. 

 

There is a stigma when it comes to outdoor grown products and Miller wants patients to understand that outdoor grown products are grown all natural and that is why they are the best choice. 

 

“Some patients don’t seem interested in outdoor grows and we are much more than that,” Miller said. “It's a better product because everything is natural and there is no need to flush out chemicals. This is Oklahoma homegrown and it’s built for the consumer.” 

 

Miller added for example garden goods taste so much better than store bought, so if you grow your own tomatoes with natural soil you are growing it the way God intended it.

 

“It’s not hormonally changed up and our terpenes are not artificially added and our nutrients and lights are not artificial,” he said. “It’s hard to explain sometimes but it really is better because it is grown the way God intended.” 

 

Miller said he looks forward to the new season starting in April and hopes to have a unique variety of Oklahoma homegrown strains to offer patients this year.
